Thursday, Sept 10, 2026
6:00-9:00 PM
Cabernet Franc. Malbec. Tannat. Petit Manseng.
A familiar lineup for Virginia wine drinkers—yet these same grapes tell a different story in the vineyards of Southwestern France. From the foothills of the Pyrenees to the inland hills beyond Bordeaux, appellations such as Irouléguy, Gaillac, Cahors, Madiran, and Marcillac produce wines of singular character: structured reds, incisive whites and a seductive sweet wine that speak clearly of place. This program is a unique opportunity to encounter these familiar varieties through an entirely different lens.
Guiding the evening is Daniel Runnerstrom of Wine Traditions. Alongside his work representing a portfolio of benchmark European estates, Daniel regularly leads blind tastings for Master Sommelier candidates while continuing his own pursuit of the coveted distinction.
Ten wines and four courses crafted by Chef Joffre. The only thing missing is you. Seating is limited. Reserve your place here. $179 per person, plus tax and service.

Wednesday, Sept 16, 2026
6:00-9:00 PM
Our annual cigar dinner, featuring our friend Gary Pesh of Old Virginia Tobacco Co., matches Gary’s mastery of all aspects of the cigar trade with Ben Himowitz who is the Co-CEO of the last remaining independent British port house Churchill’s. We’ll begin with a cocktail featuring white port and your first cigar, move to a late-summer dinner with Churchill’s Douro wines and then close the evening with a smoke paired with a single vineyard vintage port from their estate, Quinta da Gricha. Spaces are limited; dinner will be served on the patio, weather permitting.
